Type: Violin
Description: A handsome Violin bearing the maker's original label, signed internally and on botton rib, with a restored silver mounted Violin Bow stamped R. Weichold Dresden on the shaft, with another nickel mounted violin bow, all in a lined and fitted case. The attractive two-piece back, ribs and scroll of some faint narrow curl, table of medium grain broadening on the flanks, the lightly craquelled varnish of a deep red brown colour on a golden brown ground, restorable table blemish otherwise a good example.
