Description: A good French Violin bearing the makers label 'Brugere Malakoff Luthier rue Vacon 43, Marseille no. 113' also satamped ' Expert du Tirbunal de Commerce' also no. 113 and signed on inner back, with a silver mounted violin bow stamped Dodd on the shaft and frog, with a bow stamped Vuillaume, Paris in case. The attractive two-piece back ribs and scroll of bold medium curl table of open medium grain, varnish of an orange golden yellow brown colour, model after Guarneri, minor back join blemish otherwise in good condition.
