Description: A fine and handsome French Viola in a lined and fitte viola carrying case by W.E. Hill & Sons, Havenfields. The attractive two-piece back of handsome medium curl ascending from the joint ribs and scroll of similar figure, table of narrow grain broadening on the flanks, the varnish of a red brown colour in the manner of J. B. Vuillaume on a golden brown ground, in good, immediate and restored playing condition.
