Type: Violin
Description: A golden-brown violin with a two-piece back. Labelled "Gaetano Guadagnini fece in Torino nell'anno 1851 in Piazza San Carlo". Violin is said to have belonged to Henri Marteau. It was apparantly passed on to a member of the Leipzig Gewndhaus before Marteau's death in 1934.
