I saw this violin on ebay and was keen to bid on it for my daughter who is studying violin at The Royal Welsh college of Music and Drmama in cardiff.Thankfully i did some research and took the trouble to email Roger himself who very kindly replied and confirmed that it was not one of his violins.I had place a tentative starting bid on it but once I found out from Roger it was not genuine I placed no further bids.If the high bidder was genuine and not someone pushing up the price on the sellers behalf I do hope he sees this forum as he can obtain a refund from paypal if the item is not as described under paypal rules and this violin is,obviously not as described!
