About Me
I currently work for Jerry Pasewicz in Raleigh, North Carolina. I do instrument restoration work at his company. Before working for Jerry, I finished a degree at the Violin Making School of America. Prior to violin making school, I received a Master of Music degree from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Albert Laszlo. At Cincinnati I studied double bass and piano. After Cincinnati I continued music studies on cello with Ellen Bridger and some studies on violin with Rosalie Macmillian while I was at violin making school. In addition to my work at Pasewicz, I work as an accompanist and occasionally play cello for gigs. I make my own instruments outside of my restoration work. Also, in the last few years I have started apprenticing in bow making with Jerry Pasewicz when time permits.
I love this business and find almost every aspect fascinating. I feel blessed to be able to make my living in this field.

Interests
I'm interested in most everything, but I try to limit myself. I like biking, backpacking, enjoying a good meal with friends. I really love the business of violins and sometimes error on being too enthusiastic. I enjoy this forum because it gets my mind going and is sometimes good for some laughs. A lot of people use this section as a bio, but check the "About Me" section if you want to know my background and where I'm coming from.
