About Me
I began my training at Telford and Sons Violins in Boise with Steve and James Telford from 93-96. I then worked at the shop of William Harris Lee and Co in Chicago from 97-2000 doing set-ups and repairs under the direction of Chun Yee Lu. I have also attended two summer workshops studying set-up and restoration with Hans Nebel. Most recently I have been lucky enough to spend this last year studying the art of violin making with one of the great teachers of our time, Paul Hart. I also work as a fire lookout in the summer up by McCall, ID, at a place called Miners Peak up above the South Fork of the Salmon River (nice Spruce up there. Not that there would be any wood hounds around here). I look forward to working and learning from everyone here. Thanks in advance for having me.
