My name is Peter Steinemann (PeSt for short) and I am originally from Basel in Switzerland where I spent the first 25 years of my life. This is the reason my Avatar shows a Basilisk, which is the coat of arms of the city of Basel.
I then traveled the world for 10 years, visiting all continents and also meeting my wife Jeong-Mi in Korea, before settling in Melbourne Australia. We have two boys, Tomas 13 and Jakob 9 which giving us lots of joy.
They both are learning to play the violin, which kindled my interest in the history and the making of the violin. So here I am. Cheers, Peter
