Today I ran across an old violin bow that was stamped "Josef Schmidt". The bow needs work. Looks like pernambuco, has a round stick. Stick is strong and straight with good camber. I would have to buy the old violin and case as a packaged deal to get the bow. IS ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH A "Josef Schmidt bow? Any information would be appreciated. I would like to buy the bow while it is available if it is worth having.
